DICC was founded on may 10th, 2010 by pastor Lawum Kayamba and His wife Suzanne Makala
Their family lived first in Augusta, Maine. After receiving God's call to serve Him among African immigrants in Portland, Maine, pastor Kayamba, his wife and their 7 children left their comfort zone, sold their house and moved in June 2010 in Portland were they minister until now, After many move, the church meets now at 297 Cumberland Avenue, on Portland, Maine, they meet at the Salvation Army building in front of Portland High school The church office is located at 237 Oxford Street, Portland ME 04101
The church was given the mission of the entire restoration of man: body, soul and spirit. (3 John 2)
The church is preparing is grand opening on Sunday July 5th
First service at 1pm and
Second service at 2.30pm
We will be ordaining our deacons, Evangelists,Elders and pastors in the month of October 2020
